Lara Dutta, the bold n hot actress had put her foot down when Gladrags magazine used her photographs on hoardings to promote their modeling contest in 2005. She filed a case of copyright infringement against Gladrags in a Mumbai High Court and successfully won the case against them. Thus Lara Dutta proved that she is not a dumb doll to be exploited as they wished.
Incidentally, dazzling Lara Dutta was the winner of Gladrags Mega model in 1995. But Lara Dutta is no dumb doll. She had her own reasons to make out a case against Gladrags. Sources close to her revealed that Lara Dutta is sulking at Gladrags for not promoting her after she won the Gladrags contest in 1995. It was only after she won Miss Universe in 2000, the Gladrags people realized her worth and started to encash her popularity. This naturally irked her making a case against Gladrags people, which she won with honors.
By doing so the brave wonderful actress has literally woken up other stars from their slumber to take care of their rights before they were trampled upon by ruthless exploiters.
